NOW IS THE TIME..

The framers of the U.S. Constitution had neither desired nor expected political machines set up to control local government -- in their view, government was to be served by educated men, WHO WOULD ENDEAVOR TO BE IMPARTIAL. Though well-meaning, their sentiment was quite naive. Unfortunately for the common citizen, political machines have sprung up through the United States; and I believe one of the worst to be had is located in the City of San Antonio and Bexar Caunty. Most may not even consider U.S. Constitutional protections when dealing with OUR MISHMASH LOCAL GOVERNMENT; for if our local government could get away with it -- the first thing our local government in San Antonio and Bexar County would do would be to issue an Ordinance outlawing your U.S. Constitutional protections. Against the current local government, I say, "Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights! Switch away from the Garza corruption.. Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights!"

Your U.S. Constitutional Rights can be easily enforced against Local Government.. I've even sent the U.S. Marshals after City Councilors when the councilors were attempting to keep citizens from speaking at Council Meetings! "Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights! It Ain't Gonna Happen.. Unless You Make It Happen! Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights!"

You voted for them to STOP the Applewhite project.. twice.. let me tell you.. THEY HAVE GONE AHEAD WITH THE APPLEWHITE II PROJECT.. the underground river tunnel is part of that project -- "for flowing water uphill" they have gone ahead and quietly built a Purple Pipe system throughout the city at a cost of multi-millions of tax dollars to you the taxpayer and they are using the underground river tunnel "for flowing the water uphill" -- Purple Pipes feeding dirty recycled water into the underground river tunnel near Brackenridge High School -- through the tunnel -- and out near the old Pearl Brewery into more Purple Pipes (many of which have been run through Brackenridge Park) and into new multi-million dollar Purple Water tanks. They could clean the water to cleaner-than-Edwards-Underground-Water levels.. but instead they leave it "dirty" -- people will in the near future wonder why there will be a Hepatitis outbreaks (which will most likely come due to their continued contact with the "dirty" water or its contaminated lawns).

You voted for them to STOP the LIGHTRAIL project. (The same such advocated by Ed Garza.) Yet, as of this current time, VIA is apparently, quietly, scheming (and actually holding required public hearings -- apparently without PUBLIC OPPOSITION) so they can build a LIGHTRAIL line along near Broadway Avenue. The CITY COUNCIL has already spent public monies for this project. VIA is already spending public monies for this project. And it appears they are ready to turn it over to "friends" after VIA and/or the City Council build it with public monies (for private benefit).

You voted for them to STOP the development of the "North River Walk" and visions of Broadway -- what I refer to as "Peak's GRAND ILLUSION". They are quietly continuing with this project too. It appears again to be just another OUTRAGEOUS taxpayer expense that will again eventually benefit private individuals or firms. "Lining of their own pockets -- at your expense!"

And speaking of Peak.. apparently a large percentage of his campaign contributions came from people within the City of Alamo Heights.. What is this?? "ALAMO HEIGHTS DICTATES.. WHILE SAN ANTONIO SLAVES?" The political machine carries out backroom deals and then they ask us all to come like humble slaves and vote theirs into office! We have a city of a million being suppressed and run by a gang of a few. The political payoffs are usually patronage, stocks, land, and/or other benefits. The costs are borne by the taxpayers. I can name you who the machine is run by, who is on the take, and who funds them too!

"Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights! Vote AGAINST the Garza's CORRUPTION (he even admitted to taking the "payoff" money from the same person -- by which other councilors were indicted by a Federal Grand Jury).. Rise up, stand up.. Stand up for your Rights!"
